I get slightly addicted to songs.
I listen to them over and over for a week or so and then just get so sick of them its crazy.

Curious Case of Benjamin Button
I sit here right now watching this movie.
I'm an hour and 30 minutes in and have wanted to just turn it off now for about 45 minutes.
I really just want to know how it ends.
Not as good as I thought it would be
I feel like I have to finish it though...

I Love Weekends!!
This weekend was pretty perfect.
On Friday I made an impromptu trip to Dayton to hang out with Stephanie and Courtney...Maybe I'll post some pics once they put them up.
It was fun. We went on a mini bar crawl with Stephanie's roomie. I must say Dayton has got to be one of the classiest cities in all of the world. It is just a sight to see!
Saturday was errand day with Gabi and then I went back over there to a party they were having for her roomie Greg.
He just graduated law school and it was a grand ole time.
Had my first taste of Yingling and it was quite tasty! Along with the pink panty dropper that they made too....yummy!
After the partay I met up with Kelly and we went to Big Bang in the arena district. LOVE THAT PLACE!
They charge cover which sucks but it is such an awesome time! Totally going for my birthday!
Today was a magical day of laying out in the sun drinking margaritas and then cooking out some delicious food.
Can't really ask for a better weekend...
Except that I wouldn't be doing laundry and Howie would be back by now so I don't feel like a terrible roomie!

One More Step in Adulthood!!
Well my friends I took another leap into big girl land today...
I bought me some furniture!!
A cute lil dining table with bar stools and a lovely couch!

My lovely friend Gabi accompanied me on my furniture adventure today and I was shocked and amazed that I actually made a decision and bought something!
The salesman at Ashley Furniture was the nicest person in the world. He took off my $100 delivery fee because he said I was so nice...and because I had pretty blue eyes he took off another $50 just because!
Let me tell you if he was about 40 years younger I would have wanted to marry him he was so nice!
Maybe he has a son...
But regardless my new bachelorette pad is really coming to life now that I have real live furniture that will be delivered to it's doorstep on July 23rd!

When the Sun Goes Down...We'll be Groovin...
Not only was it Holly's bachelorette weekend but it was also Kenny Chesney weekend!
Could not have asked for a better concert!
Perfect weather
Perfect people
Perfect performers
Perfect cold (sometimes) $8 beers...
So that was the only part that may have sucked but everything else was awesome!
I met up with some work gals tailgating before the show...
Gabi of course was my concert going buddy
We may not have had the best seats but we had a fabulous time with our group and the people around us!
Some of the people around us....like at all country concerts...were very interesting...
I think this man was thinking he was going to a crew game and not a Kenny concert...
This man had some children's...hopefully his...feet tattooed on his arm...awesome!
This guy's shirt had a lovely sweat stain on it that we got to see alll night
As always it was a completely fabulous time on my Memorial Day weekend!
Sadly there were no BBQ's to be had but hopefully tomorrow there will be some furniture buying and more relaxing before work again on Tuesday!
And hopefully this summer there will be more concert going!!!

Holly's Bachelorette Party!
So this weekend my sisters and fellow bridesmaids traveled to Columbus for Holly's bachelorette party. I was a little iffy about it at first for one reason...
It was a sober event
Now before you all think I'm an alcoholic let me just say that is not the case, although I have never heard of a sober bachelorette party.
I just sometimes don't think I really fit in with Holly's friends but nonetheless we had a fabulous time.
We had dinner at the cheesecake factory...
Holly got a free bachelorette sundae!
Walked around Easton a bit...
Played some games at Easton and won Holly the Wizard of Oz version of Monopoly...
Ate some dessert poolside at the Hilton
Went back to the room for some more fun...including getting yelled at by security for being too loud...
And took a last shot before the girls left town
All in all it was a great girls night and we actually had a lot of fun! No alcohol needed!
So excited for my lil sister! Just a couple more weeks as a single lady!

Volleyball Game 2
So sadly we lost second game...which was actually our first game of the real season.
The other team won two out of 3 rounds we played. They were the first two rounds and then we played another game for fun and our team ended up winning.
I still really suck.
But hopefully I'm getting better!
I think my serving is improving and I am going for more shots then I normally would. Although that comes back to bite me in the ass sometimes when I don't get them.
I wish there was video of last nights games. One of my team members hit the ball and it came over in my direction in a perfect setup for me to bump it over the net. Well I got down in position to bump and COMPLETELY MISSED THE BALL!!! Like swung my arms up and hit nothing but air!!
It was on our game that doesn't matter but still!! I just fell down to the sand and laughed. That's all there was to do at that point!
Next week is an off week for Memorial Day.
Maybe by the end of the season I will have a decent chance at being a productive member of the team.
Maybe I should also practice a bit here at the Bay...
