Well ladies and gents I didn't run the full 5K, but it was a solid attempt!
I finished somewhere around 43 min or so...on slow side but hey it's the first one and I'm still not up to par after Europe!
This is definitely one of my favorite 5K's that I have participated in...This is my second year doing it and both times I've gotten teary eyed during the opening parts of the race.
Being a pediatric nurse, organ donation is super important to me...I've seen it touch so many lives...both the donor family and the recipient families...
I wish I would have had time to stick around and cheer on my co workers that ran the half marathon, but tonight is the 1st of 4 nights of work so I'm off to nap away the day!
