Random Annoyance

So I went shopping today at Old Navy

I wanted some new pants for the fall

I am a tall girl and typically buy my jeans in a long

Well they also had some cute cargo pants and cute cords...

BUT not in longs!

HELLO!!! Tall girls don't just like to wear jeans!

What the heck is the point in making jeans in longs but not other cute pants?!?!

Makes me so mad!!!! GRRRRRRRRRR

Another New Edition!

My television finally has a new home!!!

Today I got my handywoman skills to work again and put together my brand spankin new TV stand...

When I ordered it online they called it a room divider but they had to have meant a room divider for a play house cuz I certainly don't know what kind of room this lil piece is gonna divide...

However I thought it was a perfect habitat for my lovely teevee!!

What do you think???



It has the perfect lil shelf for my cable box and DVD player and I'll need to find some other cute things to put on the other shelves...

I also found a cute lil basket to house all my DVDs!!

I love the way my lil home is coming together!!

Next up is finding someone to help me hang pics....Who's up for it?!?!

I'm putting off getting ready for work...

~Brittany is gonna win the lotto tonight and get millions and millions of dollars...

~Luckily she is a great person and friend and might take me to Hawaii or give me a couple G's

~I could watch the Gilmore Girls all day every day

~My left eye is burning and watering to the tenth degree and I dont know why...my nose is also stuffy....I'm probably dying and shouldnt go to work...

~I have to remember to wake up early tomorrow to make stromboli before I go into work!

~I LOVE this new hair product...the tresemme 24 hour body volumizing mousse...FABULOUS!

~Last night my patient tried to set me up with 3 different guys...2 of his older brothers and one of their friends...who supposedly has 65K in the bank waiting to buy a house...I secretly want to find him on myspace and marry him...the friend not my patient that is...

~The time has come to get off the couch and pack my lunch and go to work...

Move Review: Time Traveler's Wife

So I went to the movies last night with Gabi and this is what we saw



I must say I did not love it...

It was very confusing at times and just seemed to jump all over the place.

It was a decent love story but I couldn't get attached to the characters because I was too busy trying to figure out what was going on!

I think it was just a little too far fetched for me to fall in love with.

My recommendation is to grab it off netflix, redbox, blockbuster, or your other movie renting mode of choice...

Successful Night!

So Britt and I played Martha Stewart and Julia Child tonight...

All in all successful night I'd say!

Britt came across this blog and we decided to try out two of her delish recipes....

An amazing Steak Sammie...



And some delish "crash hot potatoes"...



Here's a little how our cooking went...

First we smashed up the taters and threw em in the oven to bake...



Then we cooked up the steak...



Buttered up the buns...I have never used so much butter in one meal btw...



Here was the final product!





The potatoes were completely amazing! The steak sammie may have had to much Worcestershire sauce but was still pretty tasty!

Definitely a mans meal! It was really heavy and filling!

After dinner Britt even helped me hang up the mirror she got me! Look how awesome it makes my fireplace...hell even my whole apt look!



I know its a dark pic...maybe I'll try to take another one tomorrow but I totally LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!

Unfortunately Charli was not a fan of Watson and had to spend the evening in my room but other then that it was quite the fabulous night!

So I think Charli had a fab weekend as well with our guests...

She was sleepy while we waited for them to arrive...



And zonked in the window as soon as they left...



But was running around like crazy while they were here! I'm glad everyone tolerated her even though they are not the biggest cat lovers!

Can I just say this date is AWKWARD!!!

This chick just spilled her guts on a second date on a gondola about being a virgin and never having a second date before....the crickets chirped and he made some comment about the restaurant looking beautiful from the water...

This show is a train wreck...and I love it!

Amazing Weekend!

Well my amazing weekend has sadly come to an end...

I have shipped my family back to Canton, cleaned my apt, washed my sheets, moisturized my almost burnt self, and parked my ass on the couch!

My mom, aunt, sister, and cousin came to visit my lil abode this weekend and we had a STELLAR time!

All in all it was one of the best weekends of the summer by far! I think I have pretty much the best family ever and am SO happy they came to see my place!

As much as I love and miss them...I'm glad to have my apt back to myself and sleep in my own bed tonight on nice clean sheets!

I especially love that father that pushes his sons wheelchair during marching band...I've seen them on TV before and it just brings tears to my eyes everytime!

So my lovely friend Britt over at Parade Passes By always posts pics of her adorably fabulous pup Watson...

I love Watson! He is pretty much the funniest dog ever!

Well something big just happened...

I FINALLY figured out how to get the pics off my phone and on to my computer!

Reunion

So a week ago today I got to have a lil reunion with some of my favorite people in the world...

Lindsay, Stephanie, Courtney, and Annie...and even a cameo by Krissy!

The weather kinda sucked for us and we didn't really get to lay out by the pool, but we still had a fabulous time!

It was great to see them all before Lindsay goes back to Texas, Stephanie starts her last year of med school in Dayton, Courtney moves to Germany, and Annie moves back to Cleveland, and Krissy goes to China....

And I stay here in Columbus...awesome...

Just like the 4th we made a top 10 list of our little get together and it goes a lil somethin like this...

1. The awesome sun! That stayed hidden away...
2. Doing the Cupid Shuffle at the pool.
3. Watching Cash Cab and wishing we were on it!
4. Eating tons of Sun chips
5. Talking about making our celebrity death lists.
6. The guys that came to the pool for all of 5 minutes...but saved our quarter that sank to the bottom of pool during their stay.
7. Krissy's bag of travel size goodies that she handed out.
8. Courney's giveaways that she doesn't want to take to Germany. (ET and Elliot are still on my mantel)
9. The Lisa Frank folders and stickers that Pope gave to us! (Stephanie I still have yours in my living room...)
10.BACON PIZZA!!!! Enough said...

All in all in was a fabulous time despite the weather and I can't wait to visit Texas, Dayton, Germany, and Cleveland to see them all again....

Although some of those places will be much more fun then others ::Cough...dayton sucks...Cough::

Road Ragin!

Dude I had to drive from my apt to Polaris to Hilliard and back to my apt.

Let me tell you how much I hated it...

Things I hate the most:

People that sit up at the ATM and seem to organize their entire wallet even though there is a huge line behind them...PULL UP AND DO IT LATER!!

People that pull out in front of you and then proceed to go 30 in a 45...IF YOUR GOING TO PULL OUT IN FRONT OF ME THEN GOOOOOO FAST!!

People that don't let you merge onto the highway....HELLO SHARE THE SPACE AND LET ME IN!!

People that drive forever with their turn signal on...DO YOU KNOW HEAR THE TICKING IN THE CAR!! TURN YOUR CAR OR TURN OFF THE SIGNAL!!

Wow now that that is all out of my system I feel much better!

In other news I'm off to the fair tonight and can't wait to stuff my face with fried goodness!

More To Love????

So I'm only 3 minutes into this show...



And strangely/sadly I'm hooked...

In some ways I think it is so terrible that they put these girls height and weight right next to their name and age...

In other ways I mean they signed up for it so I suppose it's ok???

Then I sit here and see the height and weight and I'm like well shit that's right around where I am....

IS THAT HOW I LOOK?!?!?!?!

Arianne is prolly the closet too me...shes not bad right???

Tis The Season...

Well last night was another wedding of the summer...

My lil friend Gabi is all growed up now...

FINALLY! lol

She has been with Graig for what like 11 and half years or something crazy like that!

It was such a pretty wedding!

I cried of course...wedding's always do that to me dammit!

AND I made the slide show...twice!!

AND I caught the bouquet! Practically broke my thumb in the process since the thing weighed like 20 pounds!

All in all it was a great time and really fabulous to see what a true Henry county wedding was like!

CONGRATS GABI AND GRAIG!!
