Happy Happy Birthday!!!

I prolly should have written this earlier today but I've been trying to get my life in order so I can hang out in Texas a little longer...

Today is the birthday of hands down one of the most fabulous people in my life! The one and only bthompchomp aka Britt Thompson!

I got the most fantastic phone call from her last night after her celebration. She reminded me multiple times that she is in fact 27 and I will be following in that path in a few short months. I am so glad she was able to get out and celebrate cuz let me tell you if anyone in the world deserves a good celebration right now...its her!

We have been friends since the days of Perry Township and her little green geo and I don't see it ending anytime soon. The pic above was taken at my going away party before California and now even living in Texas we are still talking, tweeting, texting, you know the usual :) She makes me laugh all the live long day, is one of the smartest and wittiest people I know, and is going to change so many lives with her future...I have no doubt!

Happy Birthday B! I hope 2011 will take a turn for the better and give you the 27th year you deserve!!

St Patty's Day Austin Style!

Well kids my fave holiday has come and gone yet again and let me tell you...Austin did not disappoint! It was a very successful day and let me just tell you that I got about 70 people to wear my shamrock mask...including the police chief of Austin!!

T-Minus 1 Day

One more day...including one more night of work stands between me and St Patricks Day 2K11...Austin Style!

I am loaded up with my accessories, green mani/pedi, energy drinks (since I work Wed night) and some awesome travel nurses to celebrate with!

Let's just say I'm beyond excited and counting down the hours!

I also realized I really need to start writing here more...I'm sure all of you are dying to know about plans for my next travel nursing adventure!

It's Almost Hereeeee!!!!

Anyone who knows me knows my obsession with St. Patrick's Day...and if you don't know me just take a looksie back at this post and you will soon realize how amazing I think this day is! Why St. Patrick's Day is Fabulous!

This year will be quite different as I will be spending the best day of the year in lovely Austin Texas. It's also the weekend of South by Southwest, a HUGE music festival downtown. I won't be with my favorite people ever...the people that don't judge me when I make everyone in the bar wear this...



Or when I want to start my day when the sun comes up...or when I bring along everything green that I own and end up a bit like this...



My fabulous Columbus people understand all that about me and join in most of the time! Will Austin do the same??? Will I find fabulous people to hang out with??? Will they be as amazing as these people...
